Statistics in Japan show that over 70% of fatal truck accidents occur during left turns. While Japan mandated UN R151 (BSIS) for heavy vehicles starting May 2024, these systems focus on alerting the driver rather than the pedestrian. COPLUS’s DTP system bridges this gap by projecting high-intensity sequential arrows directly onto the road, allowing pedestrians in blind spots to "see the danger.
