Information security
To safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and legality of the company's information, and to prevent the misuse, leakage, alteration, damage, or loss of assets due to human error, intentional sabotage, or natural disasters, which could affect company operations or harm the company's interests, the company adheres to cybersecurity policy requirements, regularly conducts cybersecurity awareness campaigns, and provides cybersecurity education and training to employees, in order to better comply with international cybersecurity management trends and respond to customers' cybersecurity requirements.
I. Information Security Risk Management Framework: The company's information unit is responsible for information security policy management and planning, as well as the handling and reporting of information security-related incidents. Mechanisms for information security, such as anti-virus, disaster prevention, anti-hacking, and leak prevention, are regularly compiled and reported to the general manager.
II. Information Security Policy: Establish information security management standards to ensure the confidentiality and security of the company's information assets and legal compliance, and formulate procedures for handling incidents in order to minimize the impact.
III. Specific Management Plan:
1. Endpoint device protection and control.
2. Central government control over external affairs.
3. Data protection.
4. Use of new information technologies.
5. Our company regularly conducts information security awareness campaigns for our employees to enhance their information security awareness and strengthen information security protection.
IV. Our company regularly conducts educational training to promote sustainable development, including advocating the matters mentioned in paragraph 2 of the preceding article.
V. In order to improve the management of sustainable development, the Company has established a governance structure to promote sustainable development and set up a full-time or part-time unit to be responsible for proposing and implementing sustainable development policies, systems or related management guidelines and specific implementation plans, and to report to the Board of Directors on a regular basis.
VI. Our company has established a reasonable salary and compensation policy to ensure that compensation planning aligns with organizational strategic goals and the interests of stakeholders. Employee performance appraisal systems are integrated with sustainable development policies, and clear and effective reward and punishment systems are in place.
VII. In order to respect the rights and interests of stakeholders, the Company identifies its stakeholders and sets up a stakeholder section on the Company's website; through appropriate communication methods, the Company understands the reasonable expectations and needs of stakeholders and responds appropriately to their concerns on important sustainable development issues.

Upholding public welfare
I. Our company complies with relevant labor laws and regulations and adheres to international human rights conventions, such as the rights to gender equality, the right to work, and the prohibition of discrimination.
II. In order to fulfill its responsibility to protect human rights, the Company shall formulate relevant management policies and procedures, including:
1. Submit the company's human rights policy or statement.
2. Assess the impact of the company's operations and internal management on human rights, and establish corresponding procedures for handling such cases.
3. Regularly review the effectiveness of the company's human rights policies or statements.
4. When human rights violations are involved, disclose the procedures for handling the stakeholders involved.
III. Our company adheres to internationally recognized labor rights, such as freedom of association, the right to collective bargaining, care for vulnerable groups, prohibition of child labor, elimination of all forms of forced labor, and elimination of discrimination in employment and hiring. We confirm that our human resources policies are free from discrimination based on gender, race, socioeconomic class, age, marital status, or family situation, ensuring equality and fairness in employment, hiring conditions, compensation, benefits, training, performance evaluation, and promotion opportunities. For any infringement upon labor rights, our company provides an effective and appropriate grievance mechanism to ensure an equal and transparent process. The grievance channels are simple, convenient, and accessible, and we provide appropriate responses to employee grievances.
IV. The Company provides employees with information to ensure they understand the labor laws of the countries where the Company operates and the rights they enjoy.
V. Our company provides employees with a safe and healthy working environment, including providing necessary health and first aid facilities, and is committed to reducing hazards to employee safety and health in order to prevent occupational accidents.
VI. Our company regularly conducts safety and health education and training for its employees.
VII. Our company creates a favorable environment for employees' career development and establishes effective career skills development training programs. Our company appropriately reflects its business performance or results in employee compensation policies to ensure the recruitment, retention, and motivation of human resources, thereby achieving the goal of sustainable operation.
8. The Company establishes regular communication channels for employees, ensuring their right to access information and express opinions regarding the Company's operations, management activities, and decision-making. The Company respects the right of employee representatives to negotiate working conditions and provides employees with necessary information and infrastructure to facilitate consultation and cooperation between employers, employees, and employee representatives. The Company will notify employees of operational changes that may have a significant impact on them in a reasonable manner.
IX. Our Company's Responsibility for Products and Services: Our company is responsible for its products and services and values marketing ethics. We ensure transparency and safety of product and service information through our research and development, procurement, production, operations, and service processes. We formulate and publicly disclose our consumer rights policies and implement them in our operations to prevent products or services from harming consumers' rights, health, and safety.
10. Our company complies with government regulations and industry standards to ensure the quality of our products and services. The company's marketing and labeling of products and services shall comply with relevant laws and international standards, and shall not involve any deception, misleading information, fraud, or any other conduct that undermines consumer trust or harms consumer rights.
XI. The Company assesses and manages various risks that may cause operational disruptions, mitigating their impact on consumers and society. The Company provides a transparent and effective consumer complaint process for its products and services, handling consumer complaints fairly and promptly, and complying with relevant regulations such as the Personal Data Protection Act, genuinely respecting consumers' privacy rights and protecting the personal data provided by consumers.
12. Our company assesses the environmental and social impact of its procurement activities on the communities from which it sources its supplies and collaborates with its suppliers to jointly fulfill its corporate social responsibility. Before engaging in business transactions, our company assesses whether its suppliers have a history of environmental and social impact, avoiding transactions with those whose corporate social responsibility policies conflict with ours. When our company enters into contracts with its major suppliers, the contracts must include provisions regarding compliance with both parties' corporate social responsibility policies, and the clause stipulating that if a supplier violates these policies and causes a significant impact on the environment and society of the communities from which it sources its supplies, the contract may be terminated or dissolved at any time.
Thirteen, the Company assesses the impact of its operations on the community and appropriately employs local personnel to enhance community identity. The Company participates in relevant activities of civic organizations, charitable groups, and local government agencies related to community development and education through business activities, in-kind donations, corporate volunteer services, or other public service activities, thereby promoting community development.
Developing a sustainable environment
I. Our company complies with relevant environmental laws and regulations and related international standards and norms, appropriately protects the natural environment, and strives to achieve the goal of environmental sustainability in carrying out our operations and internal management.
II. Our company is committed to improving energy efficiency and using recycled materials with low environmental impact, enabling the sustainable use of Earth's resources. III. Our company establishes appropriate environmental management systems based on the characteristics of our industry. These systems should include the following:
1. Master of Management, Graduate Institute of Management, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (formerly the Business Administration Group of Industrial Management Program, Graduate Institute of Engineering Technology, Taiwan Institute of Industrial Technology)
2. Establish measurable environmental sustainability goals and regularly review their sustainability and relevance.
3. Develop specific plans or action plans and other implementation measures, and regularly review their effectiveness.
IV. The Company has established a dedicated environmental management unit or personnel to formulate, promote and maintain relevant environmental management systems and specific action plans, and regularly conduct environmental education courses for management and employees.
V. Considering the ecological impact of its operations, the Company promotes and advocates the concept of sustainable consumption, and conducts its research and development, procurement, production, operations, and service activities in accordance with the following principles to reduce the impact of its operations on the natural environment and human beings:
1. Reduce the resource and energy consumption of products and services.
2. Reduce the emission of pollutants, toxic substances and waste, and properly dispose of waste.
3. Improve the recyclability and reuse of raw materials or products.
4. To maximize the sustainable use of renewable resources.
5. Extends product durability.
6. Increase the effectiveness of products and services.
VI. To improve the efficiency of water resource utilization, the Company shall make proper and sustainable use of water resources and establish relevant management measures. The Company shall construct and strengthen relevant environmental protection and treatment facilities to avoid polluting water, air and land; and shall make every effort to minimize adverse impacts on human health and the environment, and adopt the best feasible pollution prevention and control technologies.
VII. Our company adopts internationally accepted standards or guidelines to conduct and disclose corporate greenhouse gas inventories, the scope of which includes:
1. Direct greenhouse gas emissions: Greenhouse gas emission sources are owned or controlled by the company.
2. Indirect greenhouse gas emissions: those generated from the use of energy sources such as electricity, heat or steam.
3. Other indirect emissions: Emissions generated by the company’s activities are not energy-related indirect emissions, but rather originate from emission sources owned or controlled by other companies.

The Company pays attention to the impact of climate change on its operations and, based on its operating conditions and greenhouse gas inventory results, formulates its energy conservation, carbon reduction and greenhouse gas reduction strategies, incorporates the acquisition of carbon credits into its carbon reduction strategy planning, and promotes them accordingly, so as to reduce the impact of the Company's operations on climate change.
Implementing corporate governance
I. Our company has established an effective corporate governance structure and related ethical standards and matters by referring to the Code of Conduct for Governance of Listed Companies, the Code of Conduct for Honest Operation of Listed Companies, and the Reference Examples of Code of Ethical Conduct for Listed Companies, in order to improve corporate governance.
II. The Company's Board of Directors shall exercise the due diligence of a prudent manager to ensure the Company practices sustainable development and to regularly review its implementation effectiveness and continuous improvement, thereby ensuring the implementation of sustainable development policies. The Company's Board of Directors shall fully consider the interests of stakeholders when promoting the Company's sustainable development goals.

The Company's economic, environmental and social issues arising from its operations shall be handled by senior management authorized by the Board of Directors, and the handling status shall be reported to the Board of Directors. The operational procedures and the responsible personnel shall be clearly defined.
